operational rigor feel enabling, not restrictive.

EXPERIENCE

Logitech — Director, Head of Creative & Design Operations

Mar 2024 – Present · San Jose, CA

Member of the Chief Design Officer’s Creative & Design Leadership Team; the operations and financial

authority for a 275-person global organization. Reported directly to then-CDO Alastair Curtis (2023–2024);partnered with him from 2016 on the financial-planning and recognition operations behind the org’s growth,

including the period of its Red Dot: Design Team of the Year 2023 recognition.

•

Own the $55M annual C&D budget and set budget standards, forecasts, and goals across the

275-person worldwide org; review tracking against the ~$13M quarterly budget weekly with the CDO and

Leadership Team, and hold approval authority across their teams’ pilots, budget and temp-help requests,

equipment/technology, and every contract opened.

•

Govern deployment of the CDO’s discretionary capital: set quarterly fund levels with Finance

(discretionary, T&E, temp-help, training), ensure grants are actioned within-quarter, and reallocate to

alternative projects when they aren’t. Sole owner of the accuracy and integrity of the org’s

resource-and-cost planning data — a single point of accountability the organization has relied on since

well before formal LT oversight.

•

Rebuilt the org’s core financial-planning methodology around transparency. On assuming

operations oversight at the LT level (2023), replaced an inherited model carrying unnecessary opacity

and complexity — including removing non-data-driven metrics that added complexity without improving

accuracy — with a clear, comprehensible Allocations framework built to earn partner trust through clarity.

Re-architected it on the 2024 Creative–Design re-merger, then in 2025 negotiated a dramatically

simplified methodology with Finance built on two years of demonstrated trust; the engine now effectively

runs itself on established process.

•

Eliminated $500K in annual platform cost while improving the day-to-day tool for a 3,000-user

organization. As Workfront’s roadmap evolved toward campaign and content-delivery workflows, its fit

for product-development lifecycle management diverged from the team’s needs. Co-led (with the Head

of C&D Project Management) a data-driven reassessment — user surveys, a three-month Asana pilot,

and a comparative evaluation against Monday.com — then directed the full-fiscal-year migration to

Asana (architecture rebuild, integrations, templates, training, data archival). Redirected the savings to

strategic priorities, raised PM adoption and satisfaction, and helped establish Asana as Logitech’s

enterprise PM system of record.

•

Re-architected the worldwide design-awards program (2024) from a leadership listening tour —

capping submissions per program to prevent self-cannibalization, lifting ROI, and concentrating

recognition on strategic products. The engine spans product and brand/digital recognition (Red Dot, iF,

IDEA, Good Design, IDA, Cannes Lions, Webby) and runs on ~$250K/year, managed by one

25%-dedicated team member.

•

Identified and championed a government-grant and R&D-tax-credit initiative for C&D’s innovation

team in Cork, Ireland; scoped a dedicated grant-manager role and built support across partners over 2+

years to secure CDO approval. The role is projected to be self-funding within one year and to return

several hundred thousand dollars annually for reinvestment in innovation.

•

Renegotiated key annual vendor agreements in Logitech’s favor on cost, terms, and scope — in one

case 30% below the vendor’s initial scope with a price lock into the next fiscal year; in another, a 10%

hourly-rate reduction against a proposed increase, holding rates within 3% YoY and saving thousands

per quarter. Consistently land within 2% of annual budget — often under 1% — across the $55M cost

center.

•

Embedded security and privacy review into operations. Through the corporate Cybersecurity

Champion program, instituted a standing practice of security and privacy review for new vendors and

software requests so each request owner understands the risk profile before proceeding; continue to

partner with corporate security and privacy leadership in monthly reviews and own implementation

across C&D.

•

Helped build Logitech Creative & Design from humble beginnings into a 275-person global

organization, providing operational continuity across nearly a decade of growth, structural evolution,

and leadership transitions — the 2020 Creative/Design split, the 2023 re-merger, and successive

scaling. Repeatedly integrated new teams and scope through transition (including assuming the

Workfront admin team in 2018 and earning its trust within a month). Through January 2026, led a

technical team of two system administrators and a technical manager alongside the three-person global

generalist team.

Logitech — Senior Manager, Design, Brand & Marketing OperationsJan 2019 – Mar 2024 · San Francisco Bay Area

•

Stood up operations for a newly independent $500M Creative org. When Creative split from Design

with no operations function, stepped in — on top of full Design ops duties — to support it through the

gap: interviewed, hired, and trained its first dedicated ops team (~6 months in), then advised for two

years on $500M budget dispersal, contract and vendor management, forecasting, and

working/non-working and direct/indirect budget classification. On the 2023 re-merger, retrained all

incoming budget owners in the standards my team and I had established.

•

Built and matured Creative & Design’s financial-tracking ecosystem. Year over year, redeveloped

the Allocations engine and a connected suite of tracking systems — GL-code spend, temp-help,

relocation, SOWs and POs, and more — making them progressively more accurate and foolproof as the

org scaled through a COVID-era hiring spike and subsequent restructuring. Brought on and developed

an implementation and data-management partner (2021) to help run it, making the org’s core planning

process durable beyond any single person.

•

Owned administration and continuous improvement of core operating platforms for a 3,000-user

organization. Workfront: established product-group portfolio architecture, taxonomy, and metatagging

where none existed, built training and weekly live WW trainings, and partnered with IT on integrations

and visual-proofing workflows — standardizing PM practice and introducing accurate resource

management for the first time. Bynder DAM (3K users, 3M+ assets): built taxonomy, training, and

brand-standard reskinning, governed access and permissions by security best practice, and integrated

the DAM into Logitech’s broader tech ecosystem.

•

Led the Phrase (formerly Memsource) platform migration and implementation: ran the RFP,

procurement review, and MSA/annual-scope development; led content transfer off the prior

translation-management system; and drove implementation, software-localization management, and

growth of the 125M+ word/string bank to raise efficiency and cut cost over time. Phrase remains the

engine of the localization, translation, and transcreation team.

•

Unified Internationalization, Globalization & Localization (IGL) into a single around-the-clock

service — a 10-person team across time zones delivering 3,000+ language-service requests annually at

~12 target languages each. Secured $11K to acquire two datasets spanning 23 languages, adding 500K

words and returning ~$100K in value (~9× ROI) — a final optimization before handing off the platform on

promotion to the Leadership Team.

•

Scaled standardized operating practice to ~5,000 users through a multi-channel enablement

program — live and recorded trainings, onboarding docs, white papers, intranet, and shared drives —

and created and refined hundreds of reference documents (budget, finance, workflow, taxonomy,

language services). Turned the systems my team built into org-wide habit — the mechanism by which a

small ops team governs the practices of a 3,000+ person user base.

Logitech — Lead Design & Marketing Producer / Project Manager

Oct 2016 – Jan 2019 · Newark, CA

Hired to run vision-to-shelf program management for 20–60 NPIs and products annually across

18–24-month lifecycles; within six months, tapped by leadership to build Creative & Design’s first operational

foundations — training, onboarding, and budget standards.

•

Built the original team-resourcing model (2016) that grew into “Allocations,” now the org’s annual

resource-and-cost planning engine, and designed C&D’s first budget-tracking systems — GL-code

spend, temp-help, relocation, and SOW/PO tracking — the foundation the org’s financial ecosystem

grew from.

•

Served as pilot user and internal champion for Logitech’s Workfront rollout — one of three

partnering with the Workfront implementation team to stand up the platform; authored the first

kickoff-to-delivery schedule (for a category-opening innovation NPI), which became the PM template

adopted across the team. Trained and evangelized adoption, then assumed leadership of the Workfront

team and ownership of the vendor relationship in 2018 — scope that later scaled to a 3-person admin

team supporting 3,000 users.

•

Created the two-week PM onboarding curriculum standardizing workflow and Product Playbook

adherence.LEVEL Studios / Rosetta (Publicis Groupe) — Producer → Senior Director, Client Services

2010 – 2016 · San Jose / Cupertino, CA

Rose through four roles in six years supporting Apple, reaching Senior Director with leadership of 15+

reports and escalation oversight for an 80-person on-site client team. Forecast and managed

multi-million-dollar quarterly budgets, driving sustained account growth. Built the team’s first training and

onboarding systems — a two-week Producer curriculum and self-guided manuals that standardized

workflow across disciplines — the early prototype of the operations-building work that became my career.

Earlier Career — Production & Post — Chicago

2000 – 2010

A decade producing web, interactive, video, and broadcast content across Chicago agencies and studios

(Mode Project, VSA Partners, I-cubed) for brands including GE, IBM, Goldman Sachs, and Caterpillar —

managing cross-disciplinary creative teams and multi-million-dollar accounts from concept to delivery.

Produced an early caterpillar.com web experience, traveling to factories and field sites to develop launch

video and story content. Concurrently co-founded a film production company and supervised

post-production on award-winning, festival-selected independent features (Sundance, SXSW).
